Responsible Use

• Pesticide use is not an all-or-nothing proposition.

• Canada’s plant sciences industry agrees pesticides should be used only when necessary, and that they need to be used according to label directions. 
  
  
• Sometimes, however, even the best-tended green spaces require pesticides to control infestations. 
  
  
• People need tools when problems such as these arise and home-use pesticides are specifically formulated to be safe for the average citizen to use to protect home lawns and gardens.
  
  
• A lack of options for treating pests can lead to greater infestations that become even more costly and difficult – and sometimes even impossible - to control.  The result can be a complete loss of valuable landscaping.
