Certified Crop Science Consultant

Helping crop protection professionals meet and exceed industry’s standards
Industry professionals carry considerable responsibility for the safe and effective use of crop protection and plant biotechnology products throughout Canada. To ensure these professionals are meeting and exceeding the expectations and are adhering to national industry standards for professionalism, ethics and continuing education, the Certified Crop Science Consultant (CCSC) program is required by CropLife Canada manufacturing member companies for individuals providing technical advise and making product use recommendations involving crop protection and plant biotechnology products.
CropLife Canada, in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan - Center for Continuing and Distance Education offers CCSC certification in a flexible, on-line interactive (student/teacher) course.
CCSC Certification requires the successful completion of 10 independent learning modules, three assignments and one case study within 12-months. The course modules focus on agri-chemical and plant biotechnology issues that are paramount for today’s industry professionals and are updated annually ensuring that course participants receive the most current and relevant information in the industry.
