TORONTO - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today released the “Third National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals”. A new analysis of government inspection data released today by Croplife Canada shows that the amount of pesticide residues found in foods sold in Canada is at its lowest level in years, with the vast majority of tested foods showing no detectable amounts at all.

Urban Pest Management Council of Canada Announces Legal Action Against City of Toronto

TORONTO, ON - The Urban Pest Management Council of Canada (UPMC) today announced that an application has been filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice asking the court to strike down the City of Toronto's by-law restricting the use of pesticides by Toronto residents. UPMC is the urban division of CropLife Canada, which represents the manufacturers and distributors of pest control products.
