Canadians want to continue to enjoy a broad selection of affordable food choices.  They also want to know that the food that they buy at the supermarket, corner store or local farmer’s market has been protected in a way that is safe and environmentally friendly.  It is important for Canadians to know that the Canadian standards for food safety are among the strictest in the world and are constantly being monitored and updated.

There is much research available about the latest science surrounding crop protection issues. In order to facilitate the discussion and to ensure Canadians receive the complete picture regarding crop protection in Canada, CropLife Canada has established the CropLife Canada Food Protection Council.
